Maritime Silk Road relics to apply for World Heritage status

Local authorities are applying to have the relics added as a whole to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 2018. The relics include sites related to the peak period of the maritime trade route, known as the Maritime Silk Road, during the Song (960-1279) and Yuan (1271-1368) dynasties.
