Brief schedule of the conference:
June 2: registration day
June 3 morning: opening ceremony and special session of Chinese archaeology.
June 3 afternoon to June 5 morning: panels
June 5 afternoon: special session and closing ceremony.
(Detailed schedule might be finished in April.)
Food:
All the hotels will provide breakfast.
The Institute of Archaeology, CASS will provide beverages and light refreshments for coffee breaks, lunches on June 3, 4 and 5, welcome dinner on June 3 and farewell dinner on June 5.
Hotels in Beijing:
There are many hotels within ten minutes walking distance from the Institute of Archaeology, CASS where the conference will be held. We divided them into three levels:
Level A: four stars hotel, about 120 US dollars per night for a room with two beds
Level B: three stars hotel, about 70 US dollars per night for a room with two beds
Level C: two stars hotel, about 45 US dollars per night for a room with two beds
All the scholars may choose the level they prefer.
We will book rooms according to scholars’ choice.
Scholars need to pay by themselves when arriving.
Those who want to share the room need to pay half of the price.
Scholars who want to join post-conference tours need to book a room for June 9.
Fees for the Conference:
All the scholars need to pay 60 US dollars as registration fee to the Institute of Archaeology, CASS on June 2.
Scholars who will give a presentation in the conference need to pay membership fee to the Society for East Asian Archaeology.
All the scholars need to pay for their hotel rooms by themselves when arriving in Beijing.
Scholars who want join the post-conference tour need to pay on June 2.
